Come join families of the parish as we learn together and teach our children the Catholic faith. We meet each Tuesday from 6-7pm. The vision for Family Faith Formation is strong Catholic families in which children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ and the truths of the Catholic faith through the witness of their parents. Because parents have the primary responsibility for educating their children in the faith, all parents are asked to volunteer in some capacity.
First Reconciliation/Eucharist is contained within Family Faith Formation. Please use the same form to register. We have two classes:
Grade 2-3 First Reconciliation/First Eucharist
Grade 4 and above First Reconciliation/First Eucharist
Class begin in September and will meet from 6-7 PM each Tuesday. An essential parent orientation meeting is included and will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall.
Any youth in grade 7 or above is invited and encouraged to join formation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. There is an orientation on Sunday, October 1 at 12:15 PM in Lovett Hall. This is for both Parents and Confirmation students with Fr. Johnson. Classes begin in October, and will meet on Sundays. Confirmation is usually in early 2023. Confirmation students are also invited to our Youth Ministry program without cost.
We are fallen people living in a fallen and broken world. We each have a God-sized hole inside of our hearts. Too often we try to fill that hole with worldly things. And while these things may bring us temporary joy, they can never truly satisfy us. We will always long for something more until we allow God to fill that God-sized hole. Teen Ministry group is designed to shape the spiritual growth and emotional resilience of our young people through lively discussions, videos and activities. The teens are encouraged to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and embody the values of Faith, Hope, and Love. Through participation, teens are able to deepen both their personal spirituality as well as their friendships with their peers. We meet 2-3 times a month on Sunday evenings 6:30pm – 8:00pm in the parish hall. Dinner and desserts are provided. All teens grades 7-12 are invited to participate.
